How to Apply
We operate an open access and fully inclusive admissions policy and pupils from all backgrounds and abilities are welcome.
New College Durham Academies Trust is the Admissions Authority. The Trust will consider all admissions applications sent to them by the Local Authority (LA) and will apply the policy fairly and consistently to every application received.
For full details of our Admissions, please see our Admissions Policy.
For entry into Year 7, applications to the Academy will be made through the Local Authority. As a parent/carer you are required to complete the Common Application Form (CAF) which is available from the Local Authority. If you would like to apply for a Year 7 place at the Academy you should name North Durham Academy as your preference on the CAF.
