On Thursday 29th November, NDA dancers and musicians were invited to take part in Halloween celebrations at Beamish museum. We took over 60 students to perform in the Masonic Hall in Beamish town.

60 dancers from year 10 up to year 13 danced a version of the Michael Jackson 'Thriller' dance choreographed by Miss Colquhoun. They were accompanied by a rock band featuring Jamie-Leigh Golightly and Kayleigh Greathead sharing the lead vocals, Josh Allison on lead guitar, Charlie Haggan, Amber Blair and Lexus Darwood on keyboard and Harry Devlin on bass.

Student costumes and facepaint were created by Art and Textile students.

Students performed 'Thriller' ten times in the evening and it was watched by hundreds of people.

On Halloween evening, 16 of the dancers went and performed the same routine at a ball at the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle.
